Baofeng Cable Co., Ltd. changed its name on March 15th, 2006 to Hebei New Baofeng Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. Our company owns the fixed capital of RMB1.6 billion with 1,100 staff members (86 of them are senior engineers and technicians, 230 are engineers and technicians). Our company consists of 18 departments, 11 branches, and 32 representative offices with sales networks covering 50 big and medium cities in China. Equipped with high quality manufacturing and inspection equipment, we are not only a leading cable manufacturer but also a group company with our promoted economic situation and advanced research & development level to match the most advanced high voltage equipment and facilities. Our company has present the most advanced cable auto-producing lines and cable testing equipment in the world (the highest 750kV extra high voltage vertical producing line in the world, 10 to 110kV dry CDCC XLPE cable line, 110kV the one step method four layer co-extrusion cross linkage cable producing line, 10 to 110kV partial discharge testing equipment imported from Siemens, Germany, and 1000kV thunder and lightning surge testing equipment imported from Haefely Co., Switzerland). With a technology breakthrough, we have developed 630 to 2,500sqm sectional area submarine cables, which are in the highest level. In 2001, our predecessor-Baofeng Cable Co., Ltd. developed the first 500kV extra high voltage cross linkage cable in China with its partial discharge less than 0.8pc. In another way, we can say that we have given a new control index data for the IEC standard, or China actually has owned 500kV high voltage cable production capacity other than Germany and Japan. In recent years, our products have been not only supplied in China but also exported to countries and regions like Europe, Asia, Africa, the USA, as well as New Zealand.
